Soju is a clear, rice-distilled spirit and the national drink of South Korea. Although little known outside of Asia it is the globe’s best-selling alcohol, and with annual sales in excess of 750 million bottles it easily outsells the world’s top vodkas and whiskies.
With a view to increasing market share in the UK we were asked to design various concepts for the largest manufacturer, Jinro. We developed a range of proposals, drawing from the spirit’s rich Asian heritage and incorporating a stylised frog, the company’s mascot.
